the duration of the jam, I did waste a lot of time tho, I initially wanted to build for WebGPU, but that was hell to configure and it didn't even work in the end π but I am no stranger to Unity tho, I have a strong workflow and many custom made tools that allow me to be efficient! if you need tips feel fee to ask π
Ran around the map for quite a bit, I will say the environment is extremely well done and even if there's no actual gameplay I did have some fun just trying to figure out how to get to the highest spot I can.
Feel its very important to compliment the awesome menu UI aswell, very well done!
thanks, again I couldn't find time to implement any meaningful gameplay, but the UI indeed slaps, its made with my custom UI framework, I'm proud of it!

I wanted to make a game with Mechas but with no combat, because many games revolve around fighting, but I am considering adding combat anyway π a story would make this game a hundred times better, especially something dramatic like the robot getting split from you and a segment with only the girl, if you have suggestions feel free to tell me π
You can still make it non combat or mostly non combat. However that could be a challenge. You can add combat as well and non combat , a healthy balance of sorts. However in the case the world and and environment will be key to help this. Along with having character to meet or interact with. There are mangas and some anime that I have see do something similar, but it has been a long time since I last saw em.
There is also the mech designs and setting that need to be considered. How will long distance transportation work? (Will you ride the mech on the inside or from outside?) Are interaction while on/in the mech different from not riding? What are the different areas and regions you can explore and what are the different customs and enemies in each?
oh my you give me hope! πcomments are spot on, perhaps a balance between combat and adventuring would be great, and better interaction wit the Mech, I could totally imagine a system where you climb the Mech for transportation, the plot could revolve around the illegal mining of the ether crystals, and you fight evil corps to free the slaving robots, man you inspire me so much! hopefully I can find time to work on this soon! π

its a good concept but it has a lot of performance issues it crashes a lot and you cant change the graphics
